James Wichert, owner and chairman of the board for $10 Clothing Stores began in the retail industry in 1992 when he opened the first Dollar Store in Nevada. Shortly thereafter, he began to receive inquiries from customers and tourists about assisting them in opening retail stores throughout the United States. This became the beginning of the retail store development operation he began called Discount Retail Store Services. The store development business has steadily grown and Discount Retail Clothing Store Developers was incorporated in 1995. Since he started in the Clothing Store business, Mr. Wichert has assisted nearly 3,000 individuals open retail stores of various concepts throughout the United States, Canada, and worldwide.
Strong Experience in the Retail Fashion Industry
Terrence Teo , the general manager of $10 Clothing Stores has many years of experience managing large multi-million dollar retail clothing store operations such as Claire’s®, Fashions for Less® and many more. Terrence has a proven track record of running clean, neat and organized stores and has developed proven policies and procedures that have resulted in great success and growth for all the large clothing store operations that he has managed. This all leads to profitable stores and he is ready to share all his knowledge and experience with store owners in order to put them on the right track for success with their own independent clothing store.
A History of Wholesale
James Wichert also owns a large wholesale company which supplies over 18,000 products to its customers. The key feature of the wholesale company is that merchandise made available to our network of stores have been hand selected by our wholesale buyers. According to Mr. Wichert “Buying fashion merchandise through the Internet or from catalogs is the same as buying sight unseen. How can anyone possibly negotiate the correct price of merchandise without seeing and touching the product to determine both quality and value?”
